Oh, talk about coincidence or synchronicity! The same thoughts I clumsily (because I was teary-eyed with frustration) imparted to my son who had to "suffer defeat" because he was not accepted to the only college course he chose to embark on....so I had to do real quick thinking...and sent him off on a trip...and viola!..he came back with a deeper perspective on life and a wider philosophical vocabulary...somehow, the train rides must have shook the cobwebs of defeat off his "self-pity-party-for-one" off his head...the plane's height must have afforded him a higher perspective...
